Two doors, and a comment that said they must match

A site quota had two entrances and one comment promising they agreed. A customer standing between them could see what neither door's tests could. Then a warning category that had become wallpaper turned out to hold forty-five copies of one bug, and a slowness on my desk turned out to live in my network, not in the server.

An agent pays to read your API's reply

A sequel to a month of dogfooding: fifty posts published through our own MCP server, and the finding that a response echoing the caller's input back is charging them twice for something they already have. Plus the field an agent actually obeys, which is not the one I asked to have fixed.

When your user is an agent, the hard part is not capability. It is honesty.

I spent two weeks making this website editable by an AI instead of by a person. Adding the abilities took a few days. The rest of the time went on a single class of bug: the tool answering confidently, and wrongly, to something with no peripheral vision.
